The fluid distribution device (1) includes a main body (11) having a first engagement surface (111) with a common port (117) and a plurality of branch ports (118), and a core (13) having a second engagement surface (131) to engage with the first engagement surface (111). The first engagement surface (111) and the second engagement surface (131) when engaged with each other allow fluid communication between the common port (117) and each of the plurality of branch ports (118). The core (13) further includes a pressure balance surface (133) adapted to receive a pressure from a balance fluid in order to balance a pressure from fluid flowing between the common port (117) and the branch ports (118).
