The invention relates to a method for acquiring the characteristic values of a mobile radio network (3), whereby regular subscriber terminal devices (1) carry out the acquisition without the need for additional external devic es (GPS receiver, storage and processing module, notebook...). The acquisiti on of the characteristic values can be dynamically configured by the mobile radio system (3) and is preferably carried out every time the user carries o ut a positioning determination (when using location based services) anyway o r the subscriber terminal device (1) reaches a defined region (4) of the mob ile radio network (3), the definition of said region (4) being either based on network-conventional identification codes (cell ID, LA, RA, URA, TA) or h aving been defined by a progression of coordinates. The acquired data are tr ansmitted to an acquisition, evaluation and processing unit (2). |
