METHOD FOR DISPLAYING USER INTERFACE, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI system whose operability is excellent by displaying a setting screen which is easy for a user to intuitively grasp in a user interface having a tab display function for switching screens in one window by using a tab.

SOLUTION: A program comprises a procedure (step S101) to accept setting change about the first setting item displayed on a first setting screen arranged in the most front; a procedure (step S102) for deciding the existence of a second setting item on the second setting screen relevant to the first setting item whose setting has been changed on the first setting screen; and a procedure (step S105) for generating a third setting screen on which the first setting screen and the second setting screen are displayed in one window (step S105) when the second setting item relevant to the first setting item exists.
