PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves gutter connecting device which absorbs the elongation of an eaves gutter without making the eaves gutter deteriorate a drainage capacity, even if the eaves gutter is further elongated by abutting on a stopper. SOLUTION: In this eaves gutter connecting device, an eaves gutter joint is constituted by forming a drop-in step bottom surface portion 4 in the almost central portion of an eaves-gutter joint body 1 in which eaves-gutter connecting portions 3 and 3 are formed at both ends, and by forming a rainwater drainage drop-in port 5 in the bottom surface portion 4; and a guard tube 2, which is constituting by protrusively forming an eaves-gutter abutting and stopping piece 7, expanded and protruded upward and outward, on a fitting tube body 6, is detachably fitted into the drop-in port 5 of the eaves gutter joint from above, so that the piece 7 can be protruded into the eaves gutter joint. When the eaves gutters 9 and 9, which are connected to the connecting portions 3 and 3 at both the ends of the eaves gutter joint, are elongated due to heat, the eaves gutters 9 and 9 are blocked by the piece 7, so that the drop-in port 5 can be prevented from being blocked off, and so that the deterioration of the drainage capacity of the eaves gutters 9 and 9 can be prevented.
