PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a sheet at a front side far from a back side in either case that a sheet processing device mounted on an opening area of an image forming device for discharging the sheet from right to left to the opening area or on an opening area of an image forming device for discharging the sheet from left to right to the opening area. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device 301 is designed to be mounted on the opening area 501B of the image forming device 501 for forming an image on the sheet and discharging the sheet to the opening area 501B of the device body 501A and is provided with a processing tray 310 on which the sheet discharged to the opening area 501B is loaded and an offset roller 307 for positioning the sheet at the front side of the processing tray 310 far from the back side based on a type information of the image forming device.
