An optical CDMA encoder and decoder system using ring resonators is provided to delay the proceeding speed and time of incident optical signals by isolating ring resonators from an optical waveguide and to obtain a digitalized time delay proportional to the time delay of a single ring resonator by increasing the number of ring resonators. An optical CDMA encoder and decoder system comprises an optical CDMA encoder(20b), an optical CDMA decoder(40a), and ring resonators. The optical CDMA encoder delays and forms an optical signal, converted from Tx data at an optical waveguide, according to preset time and wavelength codes and encodes the optical signal. Corresponding to the optical CDMA encoder, the optical CDMA decoder decodes the encoded optical signal. The ring resonators are a little separated from the optical waveguide so as to be resonated and combined with the optical signal in order to generate the speed and time delay of the optical signal at the optical waveguide. |
