<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar battery and a packed battery suppressing dispersion of current density in a battery element. <P>SOLUTION: The bipolar battery has the battery element 30 with bipolar electrodes and electrolyte layers alternately stacked, and positive and negative terminals 51, 52 electrically connected to each end of the battery element to extract a current flowing in a surface direction. In the bipolar battery, the electrical resistance R3 of the current flowing in the surface direction of a region corresponding to the battery element in the positive and negative terminals is smaller than the total electrical resistance R1+R2 of the current flowing in a stacking direction between the positive and negative terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
