PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in efficiency of a transfer job by displaying an extension number of a transfer destination terminal on a transfer source terminal so as to easily deal with a case where a transfer request is issued again from a person to transfer the call thereto, when calling again the transfer source terminal since the transfer destination terminal does not respond for a fixed time, and when the transfer source terminal responds to re-calling. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an exchange device 2 accommodating and connecting a telephone set TEx comprising a display LCD and a public network NT capable of notifying the telephone set of caller number information, when the exchange device 2 calls a transfer destination telephone set TE1 through transfer operation after the telephone set TEx responds to an incoming call from the public network NT and then transfers the incoming call to the transfer destination telephone set TE1, if the transfer destination telephone set TE1 does not respond to calling for the fixed time, the telephone set TEx is called again, and caller number information reported by the incoming call and the telephone number of the transfer destination telephone set TE1 are displayed together on the display LCD of the telephone set TEx.
