PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store information of an area displayed on a display part by enlarging the area in an imaging apparatus by attaching the information to an image file, and to enable an image display device side to perform display based on the information attached to the file by acquiring the image file. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 105 receives the designation of an area to be displayed on the display part in image data, attaches position information of the area to the image data and stores the image data. When position information is attached to acquired image data, an image display device 100 connected to the imaging apparatus 105 performs frame display on the basis of the position information.
