PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human basic fibroblast growth factor having an amino acid sequence Ala-Gly-Ser- at N-terminus and substantially free from kind of human basic fibroblast growth factor having different N-terminus amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: The problem to be solved has been attained by providing a human basic fibroblast growth factor having amino acid sequence Ala-Gly-Ser- at N-terminus, substantially free from any kind of human basic fibroblast growth factors having different N-terminal amino acid sequences and it's composition.
