PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical liquid treatment method enhanced in water treatment capacity by recovering and reutilizing undissolved air, and to provide a liquid treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: The liquid treatment apparatus is equipped with an air mixer 7 for mixing the water sent by a pump 11 with air, the gas-liquid separator 8 connected to the air mixer 7 to separate undissolved air bubbles, the vacuum nozzle 12 connected to the gas-liquid separator 8, the contact tank 5 connected to the depressurized nozzle 12 to allow the water to be treated to flow in and a flow channel for returning the undissolved air bubbles separated by the gas-liquid separator 8 to the air mixer 7.
