The present invention provides for a method for preparing a storable fluidic olefin polymerisation catalyst composition, said catalyst comprising an organometallic compound of a transition metal of Group 3 to 10 of the Periodic Table (IUPAC), or of an actinide or lanthanide, and the use of such composition for polymerising alpha-olefins.
