<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption in an active matrix type display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A static memory is formed of a first drive transistor 2 and a second drive transistor 4. The data voltage from a data line 7 is input via a transistor 5 and is stored in the static memory.
