PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order supporting system simplifying the replenishing operation of consumption articles of the device.

SOLUTION: This order supporting system comprises an device monitoring apparatus that acquires device information on the device to be monitored from the devices connected to network and state information of the consumption articles, determines shortage of the consumption articles based on the state information of the consumption articles, and transmits the device information about the consumption articles whose shortage is determined and the state information of the consumption articles to an order supporting apparatus, and the order supporting apparatus that receives the device information about the consumption articles whose shortage is determined and the state information, prepares an E-mail with a URL showing a Web page for ordering the consumption articles related to the state information, and transmits it to a mail address previously associated to the device and registered. The order supporting system has a first determining means for determining whether the device is to be supported by a maintenance contract for replenishing the consumption articles. The device determined to be supported by the maintenance contract is not monitored.
