<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely select whether the suppression of the vibration or noise of a vehicle is given priority to small reduction in fuel costs or the fuel costs of the vehicle is given priority to occurrence of vibration or noise. <P>SOLUTION: When an ECO switch 89 is turned on in a hybrid automobile 20, a target revolving speed Ne* and target torque Te* as the target operation points of an engine 22 corresponding to a request power Pe* based on request torque Tr* are set by using an operation line for noise removal or an operation line for efficiency on which a second speed V2 which is smaller than a first speed V to be used when the ECO switch 89 is turned off is selected as a threshold Vref (steps S160 or S170), and the engine 22 is operated at the set target operation point, and the engine 22 and motors MG1 and MG2 are controlled so that the vehicle can travel with a driving force based on the request torque Tr* (steps S180 to S220). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
