<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for activating a hybrid imaging unit which enables an efficient image capturing operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for activating the hybrid medical imaging unit including a first imaging apparatus having a high spatial resolution and a second nuclear medical imaging apparatus having a high sensitivity for respectively detecting measuring signals for imaging from the common examination volume, one region is determined in the examination volume from the measuring signals detected continuously during the detection of the continuous measuring signals of the second imaging apparatus, and the measuring signal connected to the region is detected in the region by the first examination apparatus by using a measuring protocol connected to the region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
