<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a jig for holding a work excellent in practical convenience capable of stably holding the work without a fear of breakage, etc., thereof and capable of easily carrying out one-touch attachment and detachment of the work. <P>SOLUTION: This jig for holding the work comprises a work holding unit 3 for removably holding the work 2, and a base mount 4 for supporting the work holding unit 3. The work holding unit 3 includes a horizontal link 10 spanned between a pair of right and left support frames 6 for forming the base mount 4, a fixed frame 11 extending upwardly from the horizontal link 10, and a movable frame 13 arranged slidably in the horizontal direction on the horizontal link 10 so that it can cooperate with the fixed frame 11 to pinch and hold the work 2.
