<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bookbinding equipment which enriches a binding grade after cover binding in the case when a cover sheet is supplied from a paper feeding unit to a bookbinding processing part, and paper feeding equipment which supplies sheets to the bookbinding equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeding equipment feeds the sheets to the bookbinding equipment which applies a hot-melt adhesive to a sheet bundle and binds the bundle with the cover sheet. The paper feeding equipment includes a tray means for carrying the sheets, a separating means for separating the sheets on the tray means one by one and a paper feeding path for guiding the sheets from the separating means to the bookbinding equipment. A heating means for heating the sheets is disposed on the tray means or in the paper feeding path, and it heats the sheets to a prescribed temperature higher than normal temperatures and lower than the melting point of the hot-melt adhesive and supplies them to the bookbinding equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
