<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present advice information which enables a user to enjoy the benefit of using discount service more effectively, on the basis of a time zone during which toll roads are to be utilized. <P>SOLUTION: This traveling schedule generating apparatus is provided with: a route computation means for searching for map date and computing a route from the place of departure up to a destination; a toll-road utilization-time deducing means which computes the time required for each section constituting the route, while using the time of the departure as a starting point when a toll road is included in the route, and in that case computes a required time for each section of the toll road along with specifying of SAs, PAs to be stopped around, based on an average movable speed and rest conditions concerning the toll road; and an advice information creation means which compares each predicted arrival time with entrance and exit of the toll road in a traveling schedule with discount time zones of the toll road, and creates and presents advice information, when discount is considered applicable by the selection of utilization time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
