<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body locking structure of a storage box for a vehicle, which facilitates the setting of operating conditions, and which enables a lid body of the storage box to be surely locked without reference to acceleration generated at a collision, when the vehicle undergoes an impact force by the collision etc. <P>SOLUTION: This structure comprises: a sliding slot 35 which is formed in an arm portion 33R for turnably connecting a lid 24 and a box body 23 together; a sliding restraining means which restrains sliding when the magnitude of a sliding-direction force F5 is equivalent to/lower than a predetermined value in the action of the force F5 on a slider 37 set slidable along the sliding slot 35, and which releases a restrained state when the force F5 exceeds the predetermined value; a torsion spring 39 which makes the slider 37 slide at a stretch toward the side of an end L from that of an end R of the sliding slot 35 when the restrained state is released; and a stopper portion 28 which restrains the turning of the arm portion 33R in the opening direction of the lid 24 by locking the sliding 37 when the slider 37 is positioned on the side of the end L of the sliding slot 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
