SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S120) of detecting an idling condition that an inner race and an outer race of a one-way clutch F are relatively rotated when a controlled condition that a C1 clutch and the one-way clutch F are engaged with each other to form a first-speed gear stage is established (YES in S100) and an input shaft rotating speed N1 is lower than an estimated input shaft rotating speed which is calculated by multiplying an output shaft rotating speed N0 by a gear ratio with the formation of the first-speed gear stage (YES in S110), a step (S140) of engaging a B1 brake which is engaged to form a second-speed gear stage, in addition to the C1 clutch, when engaging conditions are satisfied in the case of detecting the idling conditions (YES in S130), and a step (S160) of lowering the engaging force of the B1 brake to be released when accelerating operation is done (YES in S150).
