PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color picture tube device having on or below a deflection yoke a plus terminal and a minus terminal to which a pair of horizontal deflection coils are wire-connected, capable of decreasing, at low cost, an XV misconvergence occurring due to an inductance difference between the pair of upper and lower horizontal deflection coils. SOLUTION: The plus terminal H+ and the minus terminal H- supply a horizontal deflection current to the pair of horizontal deflection coils 41, 42 of the deflection yoke, and are disposed only either above or below the deflection yoke. A first wiring connected to the plus terminal in the pair of horizontal deflection coils, whichever is distant from the plus terminal and the minus terminal, and a second wiring connected to the minus terminal are arranged only either on a right-hand side or on a left-hand side with respect to three electron beams viewed along an axis of the tube.
