PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of enlarging viewing angle by forming patterns for multi-domains and simplifying processes for forming the patterns for multi-domain alignment. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate; gate lines formed on the first substrate; pixel electrodes formed on the first substrate; a second substrate opposite to the first substrate; a common electrode formed on the second substrate; a first domain control means including a first part which is formed on one of the first substrate and second substrate and is extended in a direction substantially parallel to the gate lines, a second part obliquely extended from one end of the first part, and a third part which is obliquely extended from one end of the first part; and a second domain control means including a fourth part which is formed on one of the first substrate and the second substrate and is extended in a direction substantially parallel to the gate lines.
