PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient scroll compressor so that a turning scroll is pushed to a fixed scroll by stable back pressure. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor comprises the fixed scroll 5(a), a turning scroll 6, a compression chamber 7 formed of both scrolls, a back pressure chamber 9(d) making the back pressure which can push the turning scroll 6 to the fixed scroll 5a side act, a valve chamber 15(b) connecting an intake chamber 11f for sucking fluid to the compression chamber 7 and the back pressure chamber 9(d), and a spring 17(j) for pushing a connecting passage 12a(e) at the back pressure chamber side and a valve body 13(i).
