PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap capable of preventing generation of an unpleasant sound even when a large quantity of waste water are made to flow in at once, and capable of maintaining the sealing water function of a drain part and the inside of a sealing cylinder even under a bad condition such as sticking of refuse. SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 6 is arranged so that an opening 6a of one end part is positioned inside the sealing cylinder 3 and an opening 6b of the other end part is positioned in an upper position than a trap sealing water forming part 2 in an outside part of the sealing cylinder 3.
