PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot system with a passage for a worker provided between stations on which the worker can safely walk back and forth, in an inexpensive and simple structure. SOLUTION: A robot of this robot system works as desired by a working motor 26 and horizontally moves along a travelling passage by a motor 28 for movement. The robot system is furnished with: a robot electric power interrupting device to interrupt electric power supply to the motor 26 for working in moving the robot to the other station across the passage for the worker from one of the stations; an interrupting state monitor to monitor an interrupting state of the electric supply to the motor 26 for working; and an emergency stopping device. The emergency stopping device stops the robot in emergency by interrupting electric power supply to the motor 28 for movement when the robot intrudes in a previously specified territory above the passage for the worker when it is detected that the electric power supply to the motor 26 for working is not interrupted.
