PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a casting plan by which the quality of a casting can be guaranteed even if casting conditions are varied. SOLUTION: The method for designing the casting plan based on the heat-transfer solidification analysis using an analysis model formed from a plurality of elements comprises: a stage (S300) where casting conditions for a casting on a plurality of standards are set to the analysis model; a stage (S310) where, to the casting conditions of the casting on the above plurality of standards, the heat physical property values corresponding to the respective casting conditions for the casting on the above plurality of standards are calculated; a stage (S320) where, using the above calculated heat physical property values, the heat-transfer solidification analysis for the above casting respectively corresponding to the casting conditions on the above plurality of standards is practiced; and a stage (S340) where it is determined whether or not the information obtained from the heat-transfer solidification analysis respectively corresponding to the casting standards on the above plurality of standards lies within a prescribed quality allowable range.
