PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having an especially designed shape and display pattern of a rotary reel to have a three-dimensional depth and improve beginner's "Meoshi" (pressing a button to stop a target symbol) technique. SOLUTION: The reel for the game machine is disposed with at least one symbol on a main outer peripheral surface 301T, at least one end edge side of the main outer peripheral surface 301T is provided with an adjacent sub outer peripheral surface 301U, at least one of the main outer peripheral surface 301T and the sub outer peripheral surface 301U is formed as a surface directed in a different direction relative to the axial direction of a rotation shaft, and a part on the sub outer peripheral surface 301U adjoining a predetermined symbol disposed on the main outer peripheral surface 301T in the axial direction of the rotation shaft, is disposed with symbol indication marks 3M for indicating the presence of a predetermined symbol. Therefore, the presence of the predetermined symbol is easily confirmed during variation display, so that the "Meoshi" technique is improved and an unconventional novel shape of the reel is obtained.
