A system and a method for providing a web service linked with a portal site to a website are provided to enable the portal site to secure more searchers by displaying a search window tag link of the portal site to a webpage of the website and making a user perform search through the link. A program server(330) generates/provides a statistics analysis script for a connector analysis service and a unique search window tag link connected with a portal site(300) to a website(200). A search engine(320) provides a search result of a search term when a user terminal(100) connecting to the website inputs the search term through the search window tag link, which is installed and displayed in the website. A web service provider(340) generates statistics information for the user terminal connected to the website based on data generated by the statistics analysis script. The connector analysis service is more than one of a log analysis service, a real-time consultation service, a duplicated click tracing service for CPC(Cost Per Click) AD(ADvertisement), a website making service, and a web hosting service. A web sever(310) which is an interface sever performs an interface function by which the user terminal connects to the portal site. |
