A prefabricated dental implant surgical guide includes a tooth-shaped contour having an apical end and coronal end. A post is affixed t the apical end of the tooth-shaped body. The apical end post is dimensioned to fit within a hole created by a surgical drill during an implant osteotomy site preparation procedure. Insertion of the apical end post into the implant osteotomy site verifies a proper positional, rotational and angular alignment of the implant to the osteotomy site.
