<p>A method for coating metal tape involves applying a coating material comprising (A) a special polyester-based, branched, amorphous macropolyol with a molecular weight (M n) of 2500-4500 and (B) a crosslinker, and then stoving the coating at below 220[deg] C to give a coating with a T-bend test value of not more than 2.0. A method for coating metal tape involves using a coating material (I) comprising (A) a polyester-based, branched, amorphous macropolyol with a molecular weight (M n) of 2500-4500, an OH number of 0-200 mg KOH/g and an acid number of 0-10 mg KOH/g, obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid component and alcohol component(s) containing 10-20 mol% at least trifunctional alcohol and 75-90 mol% other alcohols and (B) a crosslinking agent, which is stoved on the tape at below 220[deg] C to give a coating with a T-bend test value of not more than 2.0.</p> |
