PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic electroluminescent element which has high light-emitting efficiency, high luminance, and a long service life and can be driven at a low voltage, and can make panel larger. SOLUTION: The inorganic electroluminescent element is provided with light-emitting layer between a pair of electrodes 2, 3, which has a bonding interface formed between a chalcopylite compound 31 comprising a group I-III-VI compound or a group II-III-VI group compound and a group II-VI compound 32.
