PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage shelf for sufficiently preventing the breakage of supporting columns due to stress concentration on the lower parts of the supporting columns. SOLUTION: In the article storage shelf, a plurality of supporting column frames 7 each connecting the pair of front and rear supporting columns 5 to each other via a lattice 6 are installed side by side in the cross direction of the shelf, and a viscose body type vibration damping device 12, formed by filling a viscose body between a first resistant plate and a second resistant plate arranged opposing each other in attitude along the longitudinal direction of the shelf and the vertical direction of the shelf, is provided at a position corresponding to the supporting column frame 7 between the pair of front and rear supporting columns 5 in the state that the first resistant plate and the second resistant plate are fixed and supported onto one of a pair of upper and lower supporting column frame bodies 17 each having a supporting column connection portion 19 connecting the pair of front and rear supporting columns 5 to each other, and onto the other, respectively.
