<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball, including a smooth surface on the ball surface, whereby the proportion of the land area occupying the golf ball surface area can be advantageously reduced so that the air resistance of a hit ball can be decreased to remarkably enhance the flying performance of the golf ball. <P>SOLUTION: In this golf ball, a spherical body as a base includes 300-550 dimples formed on the spherical surface, a plurality of smooth surfaces is formed in a region different from the interior of the dimple, and the surface shape is formed to leave a part of the spherical surface of the spherical body as a base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
