<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance boost performance of a step-up circuit easily without requiring a complicated control circuit, and to reduce the cost and power consumption of a solar cell power generator. <P>SOLUTION: When a current is inputted from a solar cell 1 to a boost circuit 2 and a capacitor 3, respectively, the boost circuit 2 stores the input current as electric energy in an inductor 4 when a switch element 5 is turned "on", and the capacitor 3 similarly stores the input current as electric energy. At a moment in time when the input current from the solar cell 1 reaches a maximum value (Imax), discharging the electric energy stored in the capacitor 3 is started and the input current exceeding the maximum value (Imax) is supplied to the inductor 4 and stored therein as electric energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
