<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of effectively preventing waste toner from caking in a wide range within a housing and to provide an image forming apparatus provided with the cleaning device. <P>SOLUTION: A first scraping member 40 is disposed between a housing 7a and a conveyance spiral 23, and a second scraping member 41 is disposed on the underside of a partition 30. The first scraping member 40 swings between a cleaning blade 22 and a sliding roller 21 by repeatedly reciprocating between a position (shown by a solid line) where the member 40 is elastically deformed by being lifted by a spiral vane 23b and a position (shown by a broken line) where the member 40 comes into contact with a rotational shaft 23a by its restoring force. In addition, accompanying the swing of the first scraping member 40, the second scraping member 41 swings so as to come into contact with the leading end of the cleaning blade 22 or separate therefrom according to the swing of the first scraping member 40.
