PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the consumption of ink in a short time so that the ink stored is effectively utilized with the ink not used up during printing. SOLUTION: A method for delivering liquid comprises predicting the consumption of the liquid from image data, comparing the remaining amount of the liquid with the consumption of the liquid, when the remaining amount of the liquid is larger than the consumption of the liquid, delivering the liquid out of a nozzle from the image data, and when the remaining amount of the liquid is smaller than the consumption of the liquid, informing a user of it, and when the liquid is delivered from the nozzle, calculating the remaining amount of the liquid, and in accordance with the remaining amount of the liquid, making a method for predicting the consumption of the liquid different.
