PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply in which noise incident to driving of a cooling fan can be suppressed sufficiently by controlling the drive voltage of the cooling fan appropriately depending on the AC input voltage used. SOLUTION: The power supply 20 comprises a main power supply section 30 for outputting an AC input voltage 152 of a predetermined width after converting into given DC voltages 62 and 74, a voltage detecting section 80 for detecting the voltage level 52 before converting the AC input voltage 152 into the given DC voltages 62 and 74 and outputting voltage detection information 82, and a section 90 for controlling the drive voltage 102 of a cooling fan 120 for cooling the main power supply section 30 based on the voltage detection information 82.
