ELECTRODE CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND ELECTRODE CONNECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode connection structure and an electrode connecting method that suppresses short-circuit defects and secure electric connection reliability against a high voltage and is adaptive to narrower-pitch connection. SOLUTION: The electrode connection structure has: a first circuit forming body having a plurality of first electrodes; a second circuit forming body having a plurality of second electrodes disposed opposite the plurality of first electrodes; insulating adhesive resin disposed in an opposition region of the first and second circuit forming bodies to connect the both to each other; many conductive particles coming into electric contact with tops of the respective second electrodes; and a plurality of particle holding members formed of conductive materials disposed on tops of the respective first electrodes to hold the many conductive particles and electrically connect the many conductive particles directly or indirectly to the respective first electrodes.
