PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater intake joint being easily applicable to both a first type intake technique by the use of a rainwater intake pipe and a second type intake technique by the use of a rainwater receiving plate. SOLUTION: This rainwater intake joint 1 is composed of a joint body 2 fitted and connected between down pipes allowing rainwater to flow down, a water collection part 6 provided in the joint body 2, the rainwater intake pipe 3 formed to communicate with the water collection part 6 of the joint body 2 and extend in the horizontal direction from the outer periphery of the joint body 2, and a rainwater receiving plate 8 arranged below the rainwater intake pipe 3 and attached to the joint body 2 detachably to lead the rainwater taken out of the tip of the rainwater intake pipe 3 downward. Consequently, either of both of water intake from the rainwater intake pipe 3 and water intake from the rainwater receiving plate 8 can be easily selected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
