A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a grate-type cleaner, a driving activator and also of a finger gravity separator and an unloading conveyer. The cleaner which is made as a hollow driving ball, with an upper loading opening and a lower unloading one, comprises inside an activator, which consists of a solid ball of the smaller size, arranged in the lower part thereof, the generating surface of which is made by radial rows of rubber fingers fixed with gaps and a lower console driven shaft which is mounted on the frame movably in the direction of the longitudinal axis and is connected thereto by a compression spring. |
