FIELD: optical instrument making; microscope objectives. ^ SUBSTANCE: planar-chromatic quartz-fluorite objective of a microscope consists of a separate frontal lens, two converging components, each of which is made from three separate lenses. The first converging component is in form of two separate diverging lenses made from quartz glass. In between these lenses, there is a converging lens made from fluorite. Between the frontal lens and the first converging component, there is an extra converging lens made from fluorite. ^ EFFECT: increased aperture and field of vision with retention of good aberration correction in the centre and in the field of vision, as well as provision for an infinite length of the draw-tube. ^ 1 dwg |
