PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper motor capable of correctly reactivating wiper arms stopping at midway positions. SOLUTION: A first sensor magnet 45 having a plurality of magnetic poles arranged in a circumferential direction is fixed on an armature shaft 34a, rotary sensors 46a, 46b oppose the first sensor magnet 45. A pulse signal of a cycle corresponding to the rotating speed of the armature shaft 34a is outputted from each of the rotary sensors 46a, 46b. A second sensor magnet 47 having a pair of magnetic poles disposed in the circumferential direction is fixed on the base end portion of an output shaft 22a, and an absolute position sensor 48 opposes the second sensor magnet 47. An angle detecting signal corresponding to the rotation angle of the output shaft 22a is outputted from the absolute position sensor 48. The sensors 46a, 46b and 48 are connected to a control substrate 42, and the control substrate 42 controls the operation of a motor main body 31 on the basis of a pulse signal to be inputted from the rotation sensors 46a, 46b and an angle detecting signal inputted from the absolute position sensor 48.
