PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content duplication abnormality detection apparatus capable of quickly detecting an abnormality in duplicated contents with high reliability. SOLUTION: The content duplication abnormality detection apparatus is provided with: a first comparing data storage means 104 for storing I picture data extracted from compressed duplication source content data; a comparing data identification information management means 105 for collecting address information in duplication source content data of respective stored I picture data and storing the collected address information as comparing data identification information; a second comparing data storage means 108 for storing the I picture data extracted from the duplicated content data according to the address information of the comparing data identification information; a comparison means 109 for comparing the I picture data stored in the first comparing data storage means 104 with that stored in the second comparing data storage means 108; and an output information generation means 110, when a difference is detected as the result of comparison, generating picture information for displaying an image of the I picture data in which the difference is detected on the same picture.
