PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mapping method between objects allowing easy coping with a change of a network configuration, and allowing reduction of maintenance cost necessary for mapping, and to provide a program therefor, a gateway device executing the method in an equipment management network, and an equipment management system using the device. SOLUTION: This gateway device is provided with a rewritable storage means storing: an attribute mapping table defining correspondence relation between attributes each equipped by an instance of each object; and a function mapping table associating a function of execution to an attribute value in each attribute. When performing the mapping between the respective objects, the attributes each equipped by the instance of the mapping target object are associated in reference to the attribute mapping table, and the function of the execution to each attribute is associated in reference to the function mapping table.
