PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity registration processor suppressing power consumption by adopting a suspend function, and accepting registration of a commodity even during resume processing. SOLUTION: By adopting the suspend function, the power consumption of a POS (Point Of Sales) terminal 1 is suppressed. In resume processing for returning to a normal state from a suspend state, the commodity registration is accepted by use of a backup power source during execution thereof.
