PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary scaffold being safe and effective for an operator. SOLUTION: The temporary scaffold is formed by containing mutually oppositely arranged standarts 3, ledgers 4 mutually connecting these standards 3 and handrails 30 horizontally stretched among the mutual standards 3. Each standard 3 has a stiffening member 7. The handrail bodies of the handrails 30 arranged on the upper sides of the ledgers 4 are formed by one pipe while both end sections in the longitudinal direction of the handrails 30 are connected to the stiffening members 7 for each standard 3.
