PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rim removal resistance while effectively suppressing the deterioration of rim assembling/releasing properties and vibration ride comfort of a run flat tire. SOLUTION: A rim diameter D1 at an installation inside portion 30 is larger than a rim diameter D2 at an installation outside portion 31, so that tire cross-sectional height T1 at the installation inside portion 30 is decreased and the bending stiffness of a side wall portion 28 is increased. Therefore, large deformation is suppressed to suppress the early breakage of a reinforcing rubber layer 33 in the installation inside portion 30. At that time, falling amount at the installation outside portion 31 is reduced and rotations of a bead core 12 at the installation outside portion 31 is decreased.
