PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a placement base for an equipment avoiding a lock structure accompanying with deformation of a lock claw by improving a turning fulcrum structure, ensuring strength of the lock claw and the lock hole and avoiding deterioration of operation feeling at use of a user in the placement base for the image/acoustic equipment such as DVD player fixed to a head rest part of a front seat of an automobile and appreciating the image by the user at a rear seat. SOLUTION: A hole of a bearing 38 for turnably supporting a turning body 12 relative to a receiving member 11 side is constituted by a long hole 39, the turning body 12 is lifted up in resistant to the weight of the equipment 23 supported on the turning body 12, and the lock claw 41 is engaged with a part 42 to be locked.
