<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car security device capable of saving power consumption and cost, properly monitoring the occurrence of automobile theft, a steal from the automobile, and mischief, and taking predetermined countermeasures. <P>SOLUTION: The car security device comprises an on-vehicle camera 1; an action detecting portion 23 detecting whether an action is generated in a shooting image obtained by the on-vehicle camera 1; and a controlling portion 3 making the on-vehicle camera 1 in a driving state every fixed time, and taking the predetermined countermeasures (the radio transmission or recording of the shooting image, alarm output, and the prohibition of driving an engine) when it is detected that the action is generated in the obtained shooting image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
